David Mamet has claimed that “the language we use, its rhythm, actually determines the way we behave, more than the other way around.” Select at least one character from a work in this unit, and show how the character confirms or refutes Mamet’s statement.
A good essay will have a clear introduction, a body at least two paragraphs long, and a conclusion. Make certain to quote the primary text(s) in each body paragraph. While I am no word counter, I can tell you some very good essays have run 500 – 750 words.
