Think about what career interests you and that you would like to pursue after graduation. Research the career and look into what it takes to enter that field. After you have completed the research, write a 1-2 page memo to me around the career and why it is a good fit for you. Use the memo to create a 3-5 page power point presentation on what you have learned. You will be submitting both the memo and power point presentation. Be prepared to present in class your presentation.
When writing your memo and conducting your research, make sure to answer the following questions.
- What career do I want?
- What companies am I interested in?
- Where are they located?
- What should I be doing to enter that field?
- What magazines/newspapers/websites should I subscribe to in order to keep up with that career?
- What is the starting salary for the position I want?
