The six data-collection methods on leadership practices allows
the help and knowledge of growth of leaders within the organization. The
leadership trait questionnaire can help measure personal leadership skills and
characteristics (Northouse, 2015). Using the leadership trait questionnaire, it
allows for quantification data of the perception of leaders and subordinates.
Skills inventory allows to measure leadership skills such as technical, human,
and conceptual. Using skills inventory, one can determine the strength and
weakness of the leadership skills. Leadership behavior questionnaire focuses on
the feedback of others. The questionnaire is designed to determine or measure one’s
own behavior. In my organization and company there are classes and training
specifically surrounding leadership behavior that is available but no one knows
about it. Path-goal leadership questionnaire is designed to learn about the
important aspects of path-goal leadership. The questionnaire provides useful
information about directive, supportive, participative, and achievement
oriented. This can be helpful in my organization as far as setting
organizational goals and changing the culture. The multifactored leadership questionnaires
is a program that allows for the identification of questions and to generate
them. Perceived leader integrity scale evaluates leader’s ethics which will
measure how their coworkers see them acting. I think this is important to
measure the ethics of a leader as leaders should have ethical values.
